Flightless Bird, American Mouth

[I’m still in love with Edward Cullen and still pretending to be Bella Swan]

I was a quick wet boy, diving too deep for coins
All of your street light eyes wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair, I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog-eared map and called for you everywhere

Have I found you
Flightless bird, jealous, weeping or lost you, american mouth
Big pill looming

Now I’m a fat house cat
Nursing my sore blunt tongue
Watching the warm poison rats curl through the wide fence cracks
Pissing on magazine photos
Those fishing lures thrown in the cold
And clean blood of Christ mountain stream

Have I found you
Flightless bird, grounded, bleeding or lost you, american mouth
Big pill stuck going down

The Dark Knight

went to watch Batman : The Dark Knight last Saturday at 1Borneo. bless the ppl who invented the internet, we can now purchase tickets online and avoid the hassle of having to queue for it.

personally, i think it’s a great movie, not because of Batman but because of the villain, Joker! Heath Ledger played the role so perfect that i couldn’t help feeling all sad over his untimely demise. He could have been a very successful and wonderful actor. He was one of the promising young actors listed in the Next Hollywood A-lister List.

The Joker is so insane, crazy, so evil, a sick psycho freak that kills people just for the fun of it. he doesn’t even care about the money and he’s on his own. he pays ppl to help, but later on he’ll kill all those ppl too. Joker’s craziness has kept me at the edge of my seat during the entire movie! i haven’t even had the chance to relax. just when i was about to sigh for relief, there he goes again, striking another chaos. you should really go and see the movie.

This is my card. Call Me.

i am actually looking for the pic of Joker in a nurse outfit, the one where he’s walking away from the hospital but couldn’t find any. will post it here when i found one.

on a different note, no offense, but i found a statement that says "Maggie Gyllenhaal did a horrible job in filling Katie’s shoes". and for some "unclear" reason, i totally agree with it. i don’t know whether it’s because she looks too old to be Rachel Dawes, or because she was trying too hard to be Katie Holmes’ Rachel Dawes, or because there seems to be no chemistry (at all) between her and Christian Bale, or because Katie played the part better than Maggie, i don’t know…

There’s something about CJ7

on the 2nd day of CNY, we went to watch Stephen Chow’s latest movie, CJ7.

i dunno but being a fan of Chow Sing-chi’s movie, i found that CJ7 (Chang Jiang qi hao) is a bit different from his previous works. maybe it has something to do with the cute alien…

or maybe because the ‘son’ is the protagonist of this story (instead of stephen chow himself)…

maybe because of the (sorry) giant girl with a soft voice…
